A more vigorous class for the intermediate yogi, students flow through different series of postures, often holding poses for extended periods of time. The class utilizes and builds upon physical strength, flexibility, and stamina, while also encouraging mental growth in confidence, concentration, and coordination. Students can expect to practice a variety of different seated, laying, standing, and inverted poses, with optional variations offered for varying depths of experience. The practice is paced moderately, allowing for focus to remain on breathing and alignment, and concludes with a long, deep relaxation.
