Flying Workshop! with Cara Besskó E.R.Y.T ~ Nov. 21st 1-3pm

The inverted postures of Yoga are some of the most beneficial and sometimes intimidating of the asanas. You will be introduced to and practice postures such as headstand, forearm stand, handstand, and more. You will be guided through alignment, technique, proper modifications, and feel how to develop the power in your core to stabilize.
Learn to use the wall, or a buddy, as a way to continue practicing inversions beyond this class.
Working from the ground up we will utilize key alignment principles, activate core awareness in the body, and rely on partner assists to breakdown the basics (and the secrets!) of headstands, forearm stands, handstands. Turning upside down is an invitation to release your fears, sharpen the mind and STIMULATE the body. In this workshop we will safely explore the art and joy of being upside down.

While some prior Yoga experience is helpful, no inversion experience is necessary… This is where you come to learn. All are welcome! We will be working at time in groups of 2-3. NO partner necessary to attend!
